 Pacific
Spa Academy Sdn. Bhd. is a joint venture
of Scenic Asia Sdn. Bhd., a partnership that specializes
in spa ownership, operations & retail product development,
as well as food and beverages.
In
the opening of Pacific Spa Academy, PSA has teamed up
with partners who provide support, accreditation and
curriculum structure, including Lincoln College. Clients
include Mandarin Oriental, The Regent, Toyota, etc.
Course
curricula have been designed to meet international standards
created by both ITEC and CIBTAC, regulating bodies in
the UK and in the near future, PSA will be able to offer
diplomas based on their international standard examinations.
The
Academy was nominated by Baccarat
AsiaSpa Hong Kong Awards as Spa Academy of the Year
2006/07, including another nomination for
the year 2007/08. Facilities include:
- dedicated
classroom/lecture room space for 18 students with
audio/video support

massage
training area with professional therapy tables and/or
body work mattresses (depending on massage therapy
being instructed)

treatment training area for day spa treatments

yoga

seminar.meeting
space for up to 50 people

clinic rooms available for student massage use as
a part of the clinical (practical experience) requirement
for some courses
